Debts of honour

The whole point of winning: something the loser owes.

A challenge ends with a debt of honour: something the loser owes the winner. It is the point of the whole thing — being right is only half the fun.

Agree it when you start

The debt is set when the challenge is created, not after. That is deliberate: what you are willing to owe before you know the outcome is a much more honest number than what you would offer afterwards.

Keep it to something you would actually hand over: the next pizza, a round of drinks, washing the car, or simply saying out loud in front of everyone that you were wrong.

No money runs through INTAYO

INTAYO does not hold the debt, does not pay anything out and sets no odds. It records what was agreed and keeps it visible. Whatever changes hands, changes hands between the two of you.

It stays open until it is settled

An unsettled debt does not quietly disappear. It stays visible on both sides until the loser marks it as settled — and the winner confirms. A settled debt gets a receipt; see Receipts and proof codes.

When you win

INTAYO says it for you: a card with the result you can drop straight into the group chat. When you lose, the other side gets to hold up the sign — and the card works just as well for that.

Good debts of honour

  • The next round, the next pizza, the next coffee
  • A chore neither of you likes
  • A donation to something the winner picks
  • The admission itself, in front of the people who heard the claim
