Public challenges

Most challenges are between two people. Some deserve an audience — a call bold enough that other people want to watch it land.

What public means

A public challenge can be followed by other signed-in members of INTAYO: they see the claim, the counter-claim and how it ends. Nothing about a public challenge is visible to the open internet, and a private challenge never becomes public by itself.

Where they appear

Public challenges show up in the Arena, the place to browse what other people have called and what is still open. It is also the fastest way to see how experienced players phrase a claim — an hour in there is worth more than any guide on writing one.

Deciding a public challenge

The two sides still confirm the outcome the way they do in a private challenge, and the AI referee is still the second step. What is different is the audience: on some public challenges the community's count feeds into the result, which is exactly why a public claim has to be worded so that outsiders can judge it.

Before you go public

• Write it for strangers. Nobody watching was at the table when you said it.
• Expect it to be read. A public claim, and the way you settled it, are part of your record.
• Keep other people out of it. Do not put someone else's name, photo or private business into a claim the room can read.
